Our Pastor & Staff

Pastor Tharp was called to be a preacher as a young boy. Since then, he has preached since 2002. He graduated from Providence Baptist College in 2012. He came to Trident Baptist Church in January of 2024 after serving from 2012-2024 as the associate pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Central Lake, MI. He has a passion to serve the Lord and is thrilled to be in the Low Country.

He is a dynamic preacher of the Gospel, as well as a singer and accomplished pianist. You will enjoy his Bible-filled messages and personal touch.

Pastor Brandenburg has been in the ministry since 1980 and has served as a senior pastor and associate pastor. He also has traveled extensively as a full-time evangelist. He joined the staff at Trident Baptist Church in February of 2021.

Pastor Thomas came to Trident Baptist Church in June of 2026. He is a graduate of Providence Baptist College in Elgin, Illinois. He has a great passion to reach the youth of our community. He heads up our children and teen ministries every Sunday and Wednesday.
