What to Expect

If you visit us on Sunday morning, you will have the opportunity to attend one of our small group Bible studies and our morning worship service. We will have hospitality greeters at the doors to greet you when you arrive and guide you to where you and your family should go. They can answer any question that you have at the time.

We have exciting, large and small group Bible study classes (also known as “Sunday School classes”) for every age group. You can find out where your age group meets for Sunday School when the ushers greet you at the door.

Special music provided by the Trident Choir as well as other groups

Our morning worship service is an uplifting time of singing and a challenge from the Word of God. You will hear traditional hymns from a hymnal (songbook) and then Pastor Tharp will preach a helpful Bible message. Every Sunday evening we start off with a powerful choir number and then enjoy what many call- the best of all our services! You will not want to miss our Wednesday night Bible study either. The Bible is explained and the listener is challenged to study for themselves what the Scriptures say.

What about my children?

Clean, well staffed childcare is available for your child during every service

From nursery age through teenagers, we have a place for everyone. When you arrive, you will be given personal instructions about the location of each of our preschool, elementary, and teen classes. Our people will be glad to direct you where to go.

What should I wear?

We do not have a dress code for our members or guests. Although many of our leadership and members dress in a “traditional style,” we want you to feel welcome and comfortable while you visit. We enjoy church and treat it like the very thing it is- a special place to worship the Lord together.

How can I meet the pastor?

Pastor Tharp is available after the services to greet members and guests in the lobby. On Sunday morning and evening, he and Mrs. Tharp will be greeting guests at the back door exit to the church lobby. You may also contact the church office and schedule a time. Our pastor is one you can talk with.

I have other questions. How can I get them answered?

Please give us a call in our office at 843-569-7331 or email us at info@tridentbaptist.org
We would love to answer any question that you might have.
